The XLC-3 Carbon Wheelset features a 3K Carbon Fiber rims that feature 2 different rim profiles front and rear, each with a low profile, and a 3K Carbon and hi-gloss finish.
The Pro Lite/Pro 20” Carbon Wheelset is highlighted with a new rear Cassette Hub. The Excess Cassette hub system features 3 individual pawls with an upgraded 5 fin engagement system, that lock into a 120 ratchet ring inside the rear hub for a superior cassette system and torque grabbing system to ensure all the power gets to the ground with every pedal!
The Pro Lite/Pro 20” Carbon Wheelset also offers the option for you to convert the rear hub to accept a disc brake, via an optional Disc Center Lock adapter! This gives you the best of both worlds. The Wheels are set up out of the box for V Brakes, but you can upgrade to Disc at anytime without getting a new rear hub!
Also offered is a front hub Axle Conversion – The wheels are delivered with a 3/8 front axle set up, but with the purchase of the optional front 20mm hub axle, you can also convert the front hub to be uses with 20mm dropout forks!
